Celebrating our 27th season of performance on the common in Belchertown, Massachusetts.  The Belchertown Community Band is composed of area musicians of all ages and ability levels. Everyone is invited to join us during the 2012 season.

Memorial Day Sunday Service at Quabbin Park Cemetary

Sunday, May 27, 2012 - This is a Sunday morning concert that is NOT proceeded by a rehearsal.  We perform a small selection of our standard marches including Salute to Americas’ Finest.  This event is for our seasoned musicians who are familiar with our repertoire.  Know however, that we’re trying to prepare for the whole season this year and having a strong showing here supports those initiatives.  Of particular importance this year, are lower brass, percussion, flutes, and clarinets.  Set up starts at 10:00 AM, the event kicks off at 11:00 AM, and dress for the event is white tops and dark bottoms.  Refreshments are served.

There will be four Concerts on the Common in 2012.  Concerts on the Common are on the following Thursday evenings at 7pm.

• Musicians - Mark Your Calendars!  Rehearsals for the 2012 concert season Thursday, June 28 in the auditorium of Chestnut Hill Community School.  For the complete rehearsal schedule, click here.

 

• Concerts are held on the Belchertown Common at 7pm, located at approximately 36 Main Street, Belchertown, MA  01007. 

 

• Concerts on the common are held rain or shine.  In the event of inclement weather, the concert venue is moved to Chestnut Hill Community School.
